Courtney K. Fischel joined Sweetbaum Miller PC in 2019, where she practices in the areas of general commercial and civil litigation and construction defect litigation.

Ms. Fischel obtained her Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2019, where she was twice selected to the Philip H. Corboy Fellowship in trial advocacy, a scholarship and intensive trial advocacy training program awarded to only the top advocates at Loyola. During law school, Ms. Fischel was selected as the Captain of the Fellowship, served as Executive Director of the school’s Mock Trial Board, represented indigent clients in both criminal and probate proceedings, and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for receiving the highest grade in her Appellate Advocacy class.

Before moving to Chicago, Ms. Fischel attended Colorado State University where she obtained her undergraduate degrees in Communications and Business.
